Unconditional Retreat Cancellation Policy & Terms

These terms apply to all bookings for the Unconditional Retreat hosted by Foila’s Journey Diary LLC.
By submitting a deposit or payment, you agree to the following terms:
1. Nature of Services
Foila’s Journey Diary LLC provides retreat experiences, workshops, and wellness services.
We do not provide or operate:
- Air travel
- Ground transportation
- Travel insurance
Any third-party services are the responsibility of the participant.
2. Deposits (Non-Refundable)
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Your deposit secures your place in a limited-capacity retreat and is immediately applied toward:
- Lodging reservations
- Retreat preparation
- Materials and experiences
3. Payment Plans & Financial Commitment
By selecting a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments.
- Failure to complete payments may result in loss of your reservation
- Payments made remain non-refundable, per this policy
4. Participant Cancellations
Because retreat planning involves advance financial commitments, the following applies:
More than 60 Days Before Retreat Start Date
- Payments made (excluding deposit) may be issued as a credit toward a future retreat within 12 months
30–60 Days Before Retreat
- 50% of payments made (excluding deposit) may be issued as a credit
Less than 30 Days Before Retreat
- All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable
5. Transfer of Reservation
Participants may transfer their reservation to another individual under the following conditions:
- Transfer request must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the retreat
- Replacement participant must be approved by Foila’s Journey Diary LLC
- The original participant is responsible for coordinating the transfer
6. No-Shows & Early Departure
- No refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements will be issued for:
- No-shows
- Late arrivals
- Early departures
7. Cancellation or Changes by Host
Foila’s Journey Diary LLC reserves the right to cancel or modify the retreat due to circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Insufficient enrollment
- Severe weather
- Safety concerns
- Unforeseen events beyond control
In such cases:
- Participants will receive a full refund of payments made to Foila’s Journey Diary LLC
However:
- We are not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses, including flights, rental cars, or other third-party costs
8. Force Majeure
Foila’s Journey Diary LLC shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Acts of God
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Weather conditions
- Utility failures
In such cases, refunds or credits will be issued at the sole discretion of the company.
9. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to protect against:
- Trip cancellations
- Medical emergencies
- Travel delays
- Lost or damaged belongings
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Georgia law:
Foila’s Journey Diary LLC shall not be liable for:
- Personal injury
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Delays, interruptions, or changes caused by third-party providers
Participation in retreat activities is voluntary, and each participant assumes full responsibility for their own well-being.
11. Assumption of Risk
By attending the retreat, you acknowledge that:
- Activities may include movement, outdoor experiences, and emotional processing
- You are participating at your own discretion
- You are responsible for your physical and emotional readiness
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia.
13. Agreement
By submitting payment, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood this policy
- Agree to all terms stated above
This retreat is a commitment—not just financially, but emotionally.
We ask that you say yes only if you feel ready to fully show up for yourself in this space.
