Return, Refund & Retreat Policy

Effective Date: May 9, 2026

Thank you for supporting Foila’s Journey Diary LLC. We create both handcrafted products and transformational retreat experiences. Because these offerings are very different in nature, please review the applicable section below.


🛍️ SECTION 1: PRODUCTS (Candles & Print-on-Demand Items)

This section applies to all physical and digital products purchased through our online store.

Returns

Due to the handmade and hygienic nature of our candles and the custom production process of print-on-demand items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at foilasjourneydiary@gmail.com with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

We will review the issue and offer a replacement or store credit when applicable.

Refunds

Refunds are only issued in the following cases:

  • Order was not delivered (confirmed by carrier)
  • Incorrect item was sent due to our error

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Used or burned candles
  • Custom or print-on-demand items
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or discounted items

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, before processing begins.


🏔️ SECTION 2: RETREATS & EXPERIENCES (Unconditional Retreat)

This section applies only to retreat bookings, deposits, and related payments.

Reservation & Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space at Unconditional Retreat. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

Cancellation Policy

Because retreat spaces are limited and reserved in advance:

  • All deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances
  • Cancellations after booking may not be eligible for refunds
  • Refund eligibility (if any) depends on timing prior to the retreat date

We encourage early communication if your plans change.

Transfers

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your spot to another participant, subject to approval by Foila’s Journey Diary LLC.

Retreat Changes by Organizer

If the retreat is postponed or canceled by us, participants will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • A transfer to a new retreat date

Assumption of Responsibility

Participants acknowledge responsibility for their health, travel arrangements, and participation in the retreat experience.
